A Partnership of the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services and the University of Oklahoma Outreach Community Transportation Studies and Community Programs
The Oklahoma United We Ride Council has initiated a strategic planning process that seeks to identify priorities and develop processes that identify needs and potential solutions for increased effectiveness of transportation coordination. Council members have been actively involved in regular meetings and transportation conferences and seminars throughout the state, providing current program status and information to participants.
Initial funding for Oklahoma United We Ride was provided by the United States Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration (FTA). Subsequent program funding was provided through an Interagency Agreement between the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (ODHS), Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA), and Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT).
The Council has partnered with the University of Oklahoma Outreach, Transportation Studies and Community Programs for the purposes of Web site development and limited programmatic support to the United We Ride efforts.
